Junior Church

We welcome children of all ages to be with us as part of one big family.  Children are welcome to stay during our services but school-age children might like to join our Junior Church.  We meet at 10am in the main service and leave for some time together in the choir vestry (a room at the back of the church building).  We rejoin the main service as Holy Communion is being given out and stay until the end of the service, which usually ends around 11.15 am.

Junior Church spend time getting to know the stories of Jesus and we often use craft activities to help us explore what those stories mean for us today.  We pray together and enjoy making new friends and getting to know each other.  Visiting children are welcome to join us, and whether you come every Sunday, or every now and then, we would love to have you join us!

Wishing all our children and young people and their families a very blessed and happy Christmas and New Year!

For information there will be a Junior Church on Christmas Day.  However there will be no Junior Church on Sunday 29th December, although families are very welcome to attend the service and use the Tower Room for quiet play, if needed.  This area needs to be supervised by a member of the family.

On Sunday 5th January there will be no Junior Church as everyone has been invited to join our Christian brothers and sisters at Park Grove Methodist Church for the service at 10.30 am (please note this time of service).  There will be a provision for children on this morning, during the service.

So... Junior Church at Abington Church recommences on Sunday 12th January. Hope to see you then.
