We welcome children of all ages to be with us as part of one big family. Children are welcome to stay during our services but school-age children might like to join our Junior Church. We meet at 10am in the main service and leave for some time together in the choir vestry (a room at the back of the church building). We rejoin the main service as Holy Communion is being given out and stay until the end of the service, which usually ends around 11.15 am.
Junior Church spend time getting to know the stories of Jesus and we often use craft activities to help us explore what those stories mean for us today. We pray together and enjoy making new friends and getting to know each other. Visiting children are welcome to join us, and whether you come every Sunday, or every now and then, we would love to have you join us!
For information there won't to a Junior Church on Sunday 27th October as it is half term. The following Sunday, 3rd November, we will be worshipping with all the church family as it is our next All Age Eucharist service. Our next Junior Church is on Sunday 10th November, although as it is Remembrance Sunday, some of the older children may wish to remain in the service.
