Our cherished church building has a rich history, which you can find out about here.  Our Parish Rooms can be found on the corner of Park Avenue South and Ashburnham Road and are used for Little Fishes, our toddler group, and many social events.  The Parish Rooms are available to hire for birthday parties, concerts, dances etc. Find out more information here

Rectors

Revd. Jun KimSt Peter and St Paul's church has had many Rectors (the Priest incumbent, who is responsible for the life of the church).  The first recorded Rector was in 1224 and the current Rector, the Revd. Jun Kim, currently holds the post. Revd. Jun organises services, leads us in worship, and prayerfully discerns what God is calling us to do in Abington. The church is run by the Parochial Church Council (PCC), and you can find out more about its members, meetings and minutes here.  The Who's Who section of our website tells you more about church officers and committee leaders.

Safeguarding

We take our safeguarding responsibility seriously and have appointed Esme Cushing as our Parish Safeguarding Officer. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Esme here.  Alternatively, you can find more information, or contact the Diocese of Peterborough directly through their website here.
You will find our parish Safeguarding Policies in our Policies section.

Children and Young People

A key priority for us is welcoming children and young people.  Our Children and Youth Missioner, Cathy Tinsley, co-ordinates our Junior Church, which meets on Sundays during our services, and our toddler group, Little Fishes which meets at our Parish Rooms on Mondays in term time. You can find out more about what's on when, and our work with children and young people here
