Marriage is one of the amazing gifts God gives to us, and has always been part of the rhythm of the Church, including when Jesus attended a wedding at Cana in Galilee.

We welcome many couples each year and offer a marriage workshop twice a year which can help you plan your marriage and share your hopes and anxieties with other couples and members of our church.

You can be married in the church if you live in the parish, are on the electoral roll, or have a connection that qualifies you - for example if your parents worshipped in the parish. The Church of England has recently updated its guidance on where you can marry, and this gives couples a lot more choice of where they make their commitment to each other.

You can find out if you live in the Parish of Abington though the A Church Near You  website.
